Description

Hiya everyone...well this is my first post so I better explain myself...

This painting is introducing you to, the now famous, 'Winston Butterton' or 'Mr.Win' as he's more commonly known...It's not normally my thing to do portraits but it was a requested Christmas gift for my lovely in-laws of their faithful, dribbling, handsome canine companion...

...I give you 'Mr.Win'.... *applause*

Lemmie know what you think....Happy New Year everyone :)

p.s. I used ps7...taking approx 5 hours ;)

This is looking very good. I especially like the feeling of depth. I`d recommend applying any extra details you have planned to the foremost features to further clarify the depth.
I also like the details around the mouth area of your subject and the hair is also well defined.
Very nice piece of work. Good show!

Markus, Markus.. what have you done...you're a great artist buddy, and have come a long way. I'm just very worried about your subject material buddy. I realise this one was for ye grannies, but don't scare me like this again with porcelain clowns or indians and dolphins on a background of a big crecent moon-craters done by using a toothbrush! Other than that, very well done- say hi to ye girl and to Bob Ross.

Definitely captures the spirit of the breed, but there's little sense of it being 3D as you move out towards the edges. Still, your style works well here, and the eyes (and the tongue, imo) are perfect. Great job :)
