VERY NICE! The boxing gloves are especially well rendered.

Basically you are a crazy talented and skilled dude. The painting and drawing appear totally effortless (and to me 5 hours is crazy fast ) but completely under control. If I painted as fast and freely as you do I end up with something this side of abstract expressionism.

That's just it, I'm usually very tight and tied down with my approach...even this is nowhere near as free as I wanted to be, but I end up naturally tightening up again. You'd be suprised at how much you can get by working over the whole form really roughly and then fine tuning your textures and shapes...
Best way to do it, is give yourself a time limit and stick to it. That's pretty much what I did :) ...I've found alot of the time, that when you get bogged down in detail too early on, you can lose the life of a painting.

Whatever your approach, I'd recomend you try it anyway :)

Ah, finally. Something good. Really love this. I got a bit dizzy from all the red. you should give her yellow gloves. ;)

I agree, you are very tight. But there is something missing i think from this composition. Perhaps a poem? Maybe about an elf, with a deep and meaningful title. And give her fairy wings and a crown. And not yellow gloves but silver, each with a magical name. And a big demon thing with horns and fire behind her. You have so much to learn about this website but it will will come.

Great to see some more of your stuff buddy. Keep em coming. Nice.

lol contles.

I don't feel worthy of criticking this, but the chest bothers me, it curves inwards, whilst her stomach curves out, wich seems unnatural, so I'm gonna nag you and say, did you use structure on this? because if you didn't you should.

This is damned wonderful painting! You did a wonderful job. Agree with Blissik - I wonder how this could be made in 5 hours! Unbeliveable.

(I completely agree with Contles... Where are the elves, anyway? And a poem? +O)

Great painting. Do you know the Dutch painter Nico Vrielink? The model looks exactly like his wife, the model he always uses.
The tension in the throat in combination with the red background and glove brings a wonderfull tension in the painting. Keep it up.
